Make more of
every truckload.
When stock is short and trucks are finite, Fillrate shows how different choices change what ships, what doesn’t, and how full each trailer gets.
About
Fillrate brings inventory allocation and vehicle routing into one workbench. Match limited stock to open orders, group nearby stops into delivery areas, and build truckloads that respect capacity. Then trace every decision through to what shipped and what didn’t.
Loads are built with PyVRP on estimated distances (straight-line miles × a circuity factor); road paths are drawn for display only. Fillrate is built for planning and comparison, not dispatching drivers, tracking vehicles, or turn-by-turn directions.

What is Fillrate?
An open-source planning workbench for exploring how available inventory can fulfill open orders and how those deliveries can be grouped into truckloads.
Does it provide live tracking or turn-by-turn directions?
No. Fillrate plans and compares routes; it is not a dispatch, live-tracking, or navigation system.
How are travel distances calculated?
The default is an estimated distance based on straight-line distance and a configurable circuity factor. Fillrate labels estimated travel clearly. Roads never feed the optimizer; you can optionally draw a selected shipment's road path and road miles on the map from the public Valhalla server (display only, with OpenStreetMap credit).
Can I use my own orders and inventory?
Yes. Run Fillrate on your own machine and import orders and stock as CSV, GeoJSON or scenario JSON. Or open the playground to explore a precomputed plan for a bundled synthetic example.
Where can I see the code?
The source code and issue tracker are on GitHub.
